ARE 2024 REGISTRATIONS OPEN AND IS THERE A SIGN ON DAY?
Yes, 2024 Registrations are Open online! If you register online, you do not need to attend Sign On Day.
Sign On Day is on Saturday, 3 February 2024 from 10am to 2pm at the Club - Banfield Lane, Capalaba Qld 4157 (near John Fredericks Park, Fields behind Capalaba KFC), if you prefer to sign up in person.
*New Players please bring your birth certificate or passport.
HOW DO I REGISTER MY CHILD ONLINE?
Registration is online via MySideline (i.e. you do not need to physically attend the Club to register). However, you can also come along to our sign on day at the Club if your prefer.
To Register online:

You can start with registering your child online at https://www.playrugbyleague.com/.

Click on "Register", then click on "Player", then search for "Capalaba".

Our club should pop up where you can then make your way through the online registration process.

You will need to sign up for a NRL Account as part of the registration process if you are a newly registered player but this is easy enough to do.
*Please make sure you upload a profile photo (head and shoulder, no accessories or filters) and a copy of your child's birth certificate when registering for the first time. This is a MUST to ensure the League can verify your child’s details and approve registration - it will not be approved without these.
DO YOU OFFER A TRIAL MEMBERSHIP?
Yes. New players can do a trial period for a maximum of two weeks but will be required to complete a "Come and Try" Form before commencing any training. The Form will outline the trial period and will also include an acknowledgement that there will be no insurance cover for personal accident. After this period, you must register your child online and pay the compulsory non-refundable QRL insurance fee. Remaining Club fees can be paid at a later date.

Pre-Season Training is as follows.
U6-U12 Mixed Mon & Wed 5:00-6:00pm
U12-U17 Female Tue & Thu 5:00-6:00pm
U13 Male Mon & Wed 5:00-6:00pm
U14 & U15 Male Tue & Thu 6:00-7:00pm
U16 & U17 Male Tue & Thu 5:30-7:00pm
U18 & U19 Male Tue & Thu 5:30-7:00pm
Open Men's Wed & Fri 6:00-7:30pm (Wed)
6:00-7:00pm (Fri)
Open Women's Tue & Thu 6:00-7:00pm
Over 35's (Masters) Tue & Thu 6:00-7:00pm

WHEN DO REGULAR SEASON GAMES START & WHAT DAY DOES MY CHILD PLAY?

The 2024 Female Competition Calendar is available here.
Junior Teams (U6-U17 Mixed and Male) usually play on Sundays (younger ages usually morning, older ages afternoon).
Although, on occasion some games may be played on Friday nights.
Senior Teams (U18+ Male and Female) play Saturday afternoons.
Female Competition Games are usually played on Saturdays. Although on occasion some games may be played on Friday nights.
HOW MUCH ARE 2024 REGISTRATION FEES?
2024 Registration Fee's comprise of two components:

Compulsory QRL Insurance (non-refundable and payable upfront online upon registration) ; and
-
Club Fees (to be paid by no later than 30 April 2024).
A breakdown of the 2024 Registration Fees is provided below:
Juniors

U6 & U7 (Mixed): $200 Total ($20 QRL Insurance, $180 Club

U8-U12 (Mixed): $300 Total ($25 QRL Insurance, $275 Club)

U13-U15 (Male): $300 Total ($35 QRL Insurance, $265 Club)

U16- U17 (Male): $300 Total ($40 QRL Insurance, $260 Club)
Female Competition

U12 (Female Comp): $250 Total ($25 QRL Insurance, $225 Club)

U13-U15 (Female Comp): $250 Total ($35 QRL Insurance, $215 Club)

U17 (Female Comp) : $250 Total ($40 QRL Insurance, $210 Club)
Seniors (Male & Female)

HOW DO I PAY FEES, WHEN ARE FEES DUE AND CAN I DO A PAYMENT PLAN?
Due to statewide changes to the Juniors registration process in 2024, the Compulsory QRL Insurance (non-refundable) component of your fees is required to be paid upfront online upon registration. The Compulsory Insurance amounts are outlined above.
Seniors (18+) are not required to pay Insurance upfront.
The remaining Club Fees are to be paid in full by 30 April 2024 - after this date we have a NO PAY NO PLAY RULE for 2024.
Our preferred payment method for fees is via BizCore. These can either be paid in full, or you can arrange a direct debit payment plan at: https://short.bizcore.com.au/1206493UFwdx.
You can also pay in full online via MySideline upon registration if you choose to or in person at the Club.
FAIRPLAY VOUCHERS
Round 10 Fair Play Vouchers opened on 24 January 2024 and will close on 1 May 2024.
Eligible families can apply for Vouchers online via:
https://www.qld.gov.au/recreation/sports/funding/fairplay/apply.
Fair Play vouchers are worth $150 and can be used towards Club Registration Fees or Club Merchandise. Please submit your Vouchers to the club via capalabawarriors@gmail.com to redeem.
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEES?
QRL Compulsory Insurance, Club Affiliation Fees, Referee Fees, Training Singlet/Shirt*, Presentation Day, Trophy, Team Photo.
*training singlet/shirt is provided to the child once the full balance of fees have been paid.
WHERE CAN I PURCHASE MERCHANDISE?
Club merchandise can be purchased online upon registration and collected from the Clubhouse (at the bar). Please bring your receipt with you when you come to collect.
You can also purchase merchandise directly from the Club.
